Everton marked their final ever game at Goodison Park with a comfortable 2-0 win against Southampton.
It was a special day for Everton supporters as they bid farewell to Goodison Park, which has been home for 133 years.
The Toffees went ahead inside six minutes as Iliman Ndiaye slotted home a left-footed effort before adding a second shortly before half-time.
Fans were singing all the old songs including Richarlison’s, which may push David Moyes to bring him back this summer.
Everton are reportedly leading the race to sign Richarlison, who is expected to leave Tottenham Hotspur this summer.
Prior to kick-off, supporters spotted the Premier League’s chief executive Richard Masters and here’s how they reacted.

How Everton fans reacted when they spotted Richard Masters
Goodison Park produced an incredible atmosphere against Southampton.
In fact, even Saints fans were blown away by how noisy Goodison was, with Everton fans typically in great voice.
However, just before kick-off, there was one sour moment as the supporters spotted Richard Masters making his way into the ground.
Masters received widespread boos, with many not forgetting the points deductions the club faced last season.
Supporters felt it was unjust, and the Premier League chief was also heavily criticised for appearing to suggest the Toffees are a small club, which he later clarified is not what he meant.
Everton’s disputes with the Premier League will soon become a distant memory
Everton’s financial issues are set to be a thing of the past with the Friedkin Group now in the hot seat.
Disputes with the Premier League over PSR will become a distant memory, with the new stadium set to bank an extra £40m-a-year in revenue.
The added capacity at the Hill Dickson Stadium will generate more ticket revenue on top of the £6m-a-year they’ll receive from the naming rights deal.
So, the future is certainly bright for Everton, and they shouldn’t have to have any more dealings with Masters.
