Iliman Ndiaye has finally spoken about the transfer rumours linking him with a move away from Everton.
The summer transfer window has only just opened and Everton are already experiencing one of their top players being linked with a move elsewhere.
Ndiaye did not enjoy a strong end to the season, but the Senegal international’s quality is undeniable following some excellent years on Merseyside.
How much would it take for Everton to accept a bid for Iliman Ndiaye? 💷
David Moyes said every player has his price… 😫
Manchester United are showing an interest in Ndiaye, with the 26-year-old now claiming he wants to play Champions League football.

Iliman Ndiaye admission hands Everton transfer concern
Ndiaye has already rejected Everton’s contract offers, with his camp pushing hard to include a release clause in any prospective new deal.
As speculation over his future begins to increase, the man himself has finally spoken about his aspirations for the future.
“You don’t know where football will take you next,” he told SportBIBLE.
How likely do you think it is that Everton could lose Iliman Ndiaye this summer? 😬
Surely a player of his quality will want to showcase himself on the top stage 🤩
“As I’ve always said, I want to be the best player and to do that, you have to play at the top. I want to be playing at the top level. I want to be playing Champions League football.”
It is only natural for a player to want to play at the very highest level, but Everton’s capitulation last season in the race for Europe may have dealt a blow in their bid to keep Ndiaye around.
Ndiaye has admitted he wants to taste success with Everton, yet his trust in the process may have changed after seeing the way the 2025/26 season ended.
Conversations may now need to be had on Merseyside over the future of the Senegal international.
The 26-year-old is clearly a special player, but Everton fans will only want players who want to play for their club.
Ndiaye had the opportunity to quash the transfer rumours in this interview, yet he kept the speculation going by highlighting his ambition to play European football.
The Senegalese media slammed Ndiaye just the other day for his dreadful performance in a pre-World Cup friendly.
If he is keen to play in the Champions League, he is certainly going to have to show more consistency on the pitch.
