Everton fans have already grown to love Iliman Ndiaye after joining in the summer, and he’s already suggested he’ll be here next season.

Sean Dyche‘s recruitment in the summer hasn’t really paid off, other than the obvious shrewd piece of business that was completed to bring Iliman Ndiaye to Goodison Park.

Jake O’Brien is a player who fans are desperate to see, but Sean Dyche has only handed him 26 minutes in the Premier League so far this season.

Elsewhere, Armando Broja is still yet to recover from his injury and Asmir Begovic is just there for the experience behind the scenes it seems.

Tim Iroegbunam and Orel Mangala haven’t done too badly, but they’ve not exactly set the house on fire.

Jesper Lindstrom was criticised by Michael Ball for his lack of effort and complaining earlier on in the season, and Dyche has been vocal about his struggles.

Iliman Ndiaye has already made a promise to his daughter about the new stadium

Iliman Ndiaye bagged his third goal of the season with a neat finish against Ipswich Town at the weekend.

Interestingly, Ndiaye has even got a new song, which he’s been loving and even singing himself after it was recently created in his honour.

Of course, transfer interest can appear from anywhere when a player starts performing well, and as much as we don’t want it, there is potential in the future.

The Senegal international has already made a promise to his daughter about the new stadium that Everton fans will love after his start to the season.

As per the Liverpool Echo, Ndiaye has said he wants to be the first to score at Everton’s new stadium.

“It’s funny because someone said to me, ‘Imagine you scoring the first goal at the new stadium.’

“It would be a quiz question for so long, ‘Who scored the first goal for Everton at the new stadium?’

“At that moment, my daughter, who can’t really talk yet, said, ‘Dada’! Great answer! That’s my target.

“I’ll be very proud to be part of the last season to play Goodison Park, too. There’s history here. I’m really happy to now be part of that.

“I’m so excited to play in front of all these fans because when you watch the games, you hear them on the TV. I’ll try to get them off their seats and they will try to push me on the pitch to get them off their seats. I’m just so excited.”

Plenty of things to look forward to at Everton

Iliman Ndiaye isn’t the first player to express his excitement about the new stadium; Dwight McNeil says he’s looking forward to it more than the takeover.

Fans recently got a look at it when new footage of the stadium was released. It showed extremely steep stands and the process of preparing the pitch for lay.

The Toffees are also in the process of completing a takeover which looks set to be completed towards the end of November if all goes to plan.

Two big things to look forward to for Everton fans.
