Iliman Ndiaye’s future at Everton has been thrown up in the air over recent weeks.

David Moyes will be desperate to keep hold of his star man on Merseyside this summer amid the interest from other Premier League sides.

It has been suggested that Ndiaye has rebuffed contract offers from Everton to extend his stay at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

How likely do you think it is that Everton could lose Iliman Ndiaye this summer? 😬

Surely a player of his quality will want to showcase himself on the top stage 🤩

As Moyes will potentially have a task on his hands to keep the winger around, the 63-year-old’s latest comments on Ndiaye’s national side may not go down well.

David Moyes’ Senegal verdict unlikely to go down well with Iliman Ndiaye

Ndiaye failed to quash Everton exit speculation during a recent interview whilst away with Senegal at the World Cup.

The winger has had a busy 2025/26 season with his national side playing at both the Africa Cup of Nations and this summer’s World Cup.

Speaking on TalkSPORT, Moyes admitted, despite th eir AFCON victory, Morocco were actually better than Ndiaye’s Senegal.

How much would it take for Everton to accept a bid for Iliman Ndiaye? 💷

“[Morocco are] A really good side. They’re the ones who everyone will have watched at AFCON in January,” said the Everton boss.

“Senegal beat them in the final, but I think when you look back, you’d probably say that Morocco looked a better side and probably should have been winners of the competition.”

Moyes’ homeland Scotland tasted defeat on Friday evening against Morocco in their second World Cup group game.

With Ndiaye’s future on Merseyside up in the air, downplaying Senegal’s performances at AFCON is probably not the best way for Moyes to get his winger on side.

It is believed that Manchester City are keen to sign Ndiaye over the summer following the arrival of Enzo Maresca.

Senegal lost their opening World Cup game against France, with their second and third games coming up next week.

Ndiaye did not actually start against France, but the Everton winger could be reintroduced for the upcoming games against Norway and Iraq.

The 26-year-old still has three years remaining on his deal at Everton, with the Blues comfortable over his future.
