Everton managed to grab a last-minute point away at Brighton and Hove Albion on Saturday.
It looked as though Everton were headed for a disappointing 1-0 defeat, but Beto netted a 97th-minute equaliser.
There were a number of sub-par performances across the pitch, but Carlos Alcaraz looked bright off the bench.
Wow, just wow! Sum that up for us, Toffees! 🤯
Who'd have thought Beto would save the day? 🤣
Speaking after the game, James Tarkowski released a very intriguing statement about Beto, which speaks volumes about his character.

James Tarkowski hails Beto’s character after Everton vs Brighton
Tarkowski hailed Everton’s goalscorer Beto post-match and made an interesting admission about his work ethic.
“He’s one of the hardest workers in the team,” Tarkowski stated.
“Never gives up. Always open to criticism and how to improve, how to get better. He is continuously trying to improve his game.
“He deserves moments like that because of how much effort he puts in.”
That was only Beto’s third league goal of the season, so Moyes will be hoping he can really kick on and provide more competition to Thierno Barry.
Who was your most underwhelming Everton player vs Brighton? 😡
Some really poor displays out there! 🫣
David Moyes will surely keep Beto this January transfer window
Everton have been open to selling Beto this month, but up to now, no club have met their £17m asking price.
Even if a bid in that region arrives in the final few days of the window, the Toffees must retain his signature at least until the summer.
There’s not enough time to find a suitable replacement, and Moyes will certainly be well aware of that with Monday’s deadline rapidly approaching.
The focus is very much on recruiting a Jack Grealish replacement, with Tyrique George heavily linked to Merseyside.
A telling few days await.
