With the Chelsea defeat making it apparent that cracks are appearing, David Moyes might still question a refereeing decision made.
Everton are almost at the end of what has been a season of change, but for the better.
Moyes has steadied the ship and The Friedkin Group have laid out exciting plans to look forward to.
It will be an emotional ending no doubt, as Everton fans have planned for Goodison Park’s finale.
But away from celebrating what has been an excellent ground, controversy from the Chelsea loss is still being talked about.

Moyes will be pinpointing their goal-scoring as a major problem with Beto back out of form and Dominic Calvert-Lewin still injured, as Everton are prioritising a striker.
But a more alarming factor cropped up in the defeat as Everton might feel they were robbed of a draw.
Robert Sanchez took out Vitaliy Mykolenko in the box as Richard Keys called the decision a major error.
Well, this brought up a debate between Everton’s Asmir Begovic and pundit Jamie O’Hara on Sky Sports, with a confrontation taking place.
“It’s a penalty,” O’Hara said.
“Come on. I know (Begovic is) a goalkeeper, but come on. He’s got to be politically correct because he was on the bench, the goalkeeper’s union, and all that. But he’s flattened him.”

Moyes will need improvements from referees next season for Everton
This challenge in itself was debatable, but it’s not like Everton have had most things go their way this season.
Despite their topsy-turvy form, refereeing errors haven’t helped their position in the league, and the Scotsman has experienced the brunt of it.

The main decision that sticks out is Everton being denied a penalty vs Man United in what would’ve been a massive three points.
Another came in a pivotal game at Anfield as Luis Diaz could’ve been offside when Everton conceded, proving consistency with decisions need to get better in the Premier League but more specifically for Moyes’ side.
The errors can’t take away the job Moyes has done, but next season the Everton boss won’t stand for any wrongdoings.
