Everton are facing transfer battles against a number of their Premier League rivals this summer.
David Moyes will be growing impatient as the days pass by, with just two new faces through the doors at Finch Farm.
Ahead of the Summer Series, Everton have now jetted off to the United States for the latest part of their pre-season efforts.
Moyes is keen to add new attacking players to his squad after departures for the likes of Jack Harrison and Jesper Lindstrom.
Although the pair only returned one Premier League goal between them last season, it is still two fewer players that the 62-year-old has to select from.
With the Blues eyeing new wingers, Everton are now set to face competition for one player from their city rivals, Liverpool.

Fofana is believed to be valued in the region of €60m (£52m) and is being eyed by some of Europe’s top clubs.
Everton hold an interest in Fofana and could even look to capitalise on the financial issues John Textor’s side are enduring.
Clearly, any move for Fofana is going to be met with some serious competition.
But Everton hope to attract high-quality players with their new stadium, and landing him ahead of some top European clubs would certainly be a statement.

Malick Fofana is a winger in high demand
The 20-year-old Belgian is an exciting winger who has attracted the attention of clubs all across Europe.
A big plus for Moyes would be Fofana’s ability to play on either side of the pitch.
It was on the European stage where Fofana really impressed last season, with six goals and two assists in just 10 Europa League appearances.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Bayern Munich have eyed Fofana as a potential Plan B option if they are unable to land Luis Diaz from Liverpool.
The Friedkins want to make a statement signing for Everton, and this will certainly be an addition that would catch the attention of clubs across the continent.
