Everton are hoping to get on a good run of signings after a quiet start to the transfer window.
David Moyes might begin to get slightly nervous as clubs around him continue to do plenty of transfer business.
Everton don’t want to be left behind, as it seems ever since Liam Delap rejected Everton for Chelsea, it’s gone downhill.
Thierno Barry’s imminent arrival might change that, but the Frenchman being announced anytime soon is still in the works.
Another player on the Toffees’ radar could be in the works, and he has got the tick of approval, but not from somewhere you’d expect.

Everton target Takefusa Kubo has seal of approval from Liverpool star
An exciting player beginning to emerge on Everton’s radar this summer is Takefusa Kubo.
Everton fans described Kubo’s possible transfer as a ‘dream’ with the 24-year-old excelling during his time with Real Sociedad.
It’s become clear Kubo is on Everton’s shortlist and a deal could be sorted very soon, if the winger is willing to join.
La Liga is a different game compared to the Premier League, as there might be worries that the Japanese international will be out of his depth, but Liverpool star Wataru Endo has confirmed that won’t be the case.
Endo spoke to Japanese outlet Arena Sports Times and made a very bold claim about Kubo in 2024.
“The search for a replacement for Mohamed Salah has begun, so this is becoming a real area for Liverpool to strengthen,” Endo said.
“I think the player who can replace him, in the national team, would be Kubo.”

How Kubo is feeling about future with Everton interested
Quality oozes out of the winger who has seriously impressed over his three-season tenure with Sociedad.
30 goal contributions in the league over that time prove already how Endo’s comparison to Salah could become a real possibility at Everton, with the Japan star showing similarities to the Egyptian.
Everton’s right-wing role is in desperate need of someone to really stand out, as Jack Harrison rejoining Everton hasn’t been welcomed.
The Sociedad player would be a much better upgrade, but Kubo has an ‘idea’ to stay in Spain.
Moyes will have to bring out his convincing skills, as £25m could be enough to secure Kubo’s services, making it the potential bargain of the summer.
