Liverpool forward Hugo Ekitike has admitted ahead of the Merseyside Derby that he actually grew up watching one former Everton player.
The early predictions have already started ahead of Everton’s trip to Anfield on Saturday, with three big points on the line.

Liverpool’s Hugo Ekitike idolised Everton hero
Wayne Rooney believes Everton can get something from Liverpool on Saturday when the two sides meet at Anfield.
The Premier League legend did not have the best record in the Merseyside Derby during his two stints at Everton.
However, speaking to Stan Sports, Hugo Ekitike has admitted the former Everton forward was a player he loved to watch as a child.
“I really liked Cristiano Ronaldo. He was the first player I watched,” said Ekitike.
“Rooney, [Fernando] Torres, you know, that kind of player. So, they’re the players I used to watch.”
Jamie Carragher has admitted Jack Grealish and Iliman Ndiaye will cause issues to the Liverpool side who were in action on Wednesday night in the Champions League.
Despite picking up maximum points in the Premier League, the Liverpool backline has looked suspect at times this season, which should encourage the Blues.
