Ahead of the Merseyside Derby on Saturday, Everton have released a number of images from their latest training session at Finch Farm.
David Moyes will be looking to secure his first-ever victory against Liverpool at Anfield in his managerial career.
It is not a fixture in which the 62-year-old has a good track record, but Everton are giving fans plenty of reasons to be optimistic this season
Robbie Fowler thinks Liverpool will easily beat Everton at the weekend having already seen his former side win all of their games.
But it may not be as straightforward for the Reds as the likes of Fowler expects, with Everton having already proved a number of pundits wrong.
With just hours separating Everton from their trip to Anfield, the club have provided some interesting talking points from their training ground images.

Merlin Rohl heavily features in Everton training
Deadline day signing, Merlin Rohl, could be handed his full Everton debut at the weekend in the trip to Anfield.
The German midfielder has only been on Merseyside for a couple of weeks, but Moyes has already been impressed with Rohl during his training sessions.
Rohl could be seen in a number of images, both on the ball and chasing the opposition man in possession.
It would certainly be a big call to hand the 23-year-old his full debut in what will be such an intense game at Anfield.
Nathan Patterson returns to full Everton training
In the background of some of the images, right-back Nathan Patterson could be seen training alongside his Everton teammates.
The Scotland international has not featured this season after a turbulent summer.
Patterson was set to join Sevilla on loan for the 2025/26 campaign, but the deal collapsed, with Everton unable to find a replacement.
In addition, the 23-year-old has missed the opening games of the season due to another injury issue.
Moyes said a big season awaits Patterson, with his Everton future seemingly hanging by a thread.
Vitaliy Mykolenko missing from Everton training images
Over recent days, Vitaliy Mykolenko returned from international duty with an injury concern, which was picked up playing for the Blues.
The Ukraine international did not play at the weekend against Aston Villa, but he was spotted arriving to Finch Farm last week without any signs of restriction.
There was, however, no sign of Mykolenko in the training images shared on Thursday.
It has to be noted that the club may well be keeping their cards close to their chest over the left-back’s fitness.
Moyes will take to the media on Friday morning, where more may well be revealed.
