Everton will be looking to bring in players across just about all positions this summer in the transfer market.

This could be a summer like no other for Everton fans who have become used to seeing their club offload their top talents to balance the books.

David Moyes will be hoping to put his own stamp on the squad which he has been handed from the previous regime.

The 62-year-old has been able to work some magic in improving the results and securing Premier League survival, but there’s work to be done in the market.

Moyes will be handed a significant transfer budget by the Friedkins who will be splashing the cash for the first time in a summer window.

One of their targets has already been informed of the interest coming from the likes of Everton and his manager has shared his response.

Everton eyeing move for Sheffield United’s Gustavo Hamer

Ahead of the window opening, Everton are looking to address four key positions in their squad to really bolster the quality.

According to TeamTalk, Everton are one of the clubs showing an interest in the Sheffield United midfielder Gustavo Hamer.

The 27-year-old is just one of the midfielders believed to be on Everton’s radar this summer.

However, a potential deal would become incredibly complicated if the Blades are to secure themselves a return to the Premier League.

Everton are also eyeing Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall once again after previously showing their interest in the Chelsea midfielder back in January.

With the future of Idrissa Gana Gueye and Abdoulaye Doucoure still uncertain, midfield is an area which could require some major additions over the coming months.

How Gustavo Hamer responded to interest from Everton

Hamer has enjoyed a stunning campaign in the Championship with the Blades.

The midfielder has returned 16 goal contributions in the league as they look to seal a Premier League spot in the play-offs.

Manager Chris Wilder has already spoken about Hamer’s future and the interest arriving from the Premier League in him.

“I’m okay with stuff like that, because he’s a good player, and I would not expect anything different off the back of that,” Wilder said after hailing his midfielder ‘outstanding’.

“So, as soon as I had that conversation with Gus – there was obvious interest from clubs, a little bit of nonsense, noise and nonsense at times – but as soon as he was all in, and we talked about that, he’s given everything for me and the football club right the way through.

“Not just from a cultural point of view, but when you need those big moments, and you need people, players to produce, the bit of special that divides the average from the best, he’s found those moments. And hopefully, everything goes well in the next three or four weeks.”

Everton still need to decide on Carlos Alcaraz’s future, but it already seems as if the club are looking at other potential additions in that position.
