Everton have already seen a number of controversial decisions given against them in the opening half of the season.
Some of the decisions that have gone against Everton really have been baffling and ultimately have cost the Blues points.
Just last week, David Moyes was left furious with referee Sam Barrott after he rejected penalty appeals for a foul on Thierno Barry.
The biggest issue lies in the lack of consistency being shown in the Premier League across the board by the officials.
Moyes has now seen a number of decisions go against Everton that have previously gone in the favour of other sides.
On Boxing Day, there was one decision made which will surely leave those on Merseyside furious yet again.

Everton must be furious with Manchester United refereeing decision
The Premier League have appointed Craig Pawson to referee Burnley vs Everton on Saturday, but it is a decision on Friday that will surely have frustrated those at Finch Farm.
Man United faced Newcastle United in the only game on Boxing Day and there was another refereeing controversy to come from the clash at Old Trafford.
Lisandro Martinez saw the ball hit his arms whilst holding them up around his head, yet Newcastle were denied a penalty.
Spot the difference! 😡
How do Everton always end up getting these given against them and other teams don't?
The decision went to VAR, but the calls for a penalty were rejected and the on-field decision of no penalty stood.
Everton saw a similar penalty given against them in the game against Brighton & Hove Albion in what was the curtain raiser at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
James Tarkowski gave away a penalty for a handball against Leeds United in the opening game of the season at Elland Road.
Yet the calls for a handball on Man United fall on deaf ears it would seem.
Premier League referees need to up their standards
Speaking to Everton News, former Premier League referee Mark Clattenburg agreed Everton shouldn’t have had a penalty against Arsenal.
Why does this constantly happen to Everton? 😠
The Premier League have appointed Craig Pawson to referee the trip to Burnley…
The issue lies in an almost identical foul being given just hours later in favour of Fulham during their game against Nottingham Forest.
There is simply no consistency at all in the Premier League when it comes to the refereeing standards.
And the handball decision on Man United just sums it up with Martinez’s arms up in an unnatural position.
It would be totally understandable if Everton were left absolutely furious having seen the incident.
