Everton fans will feel aggrieved not to have been awarded that penalty on Saturday afternoon against Manchester United.
It was a strange game where David Moyes’ side looked comfortable for 70 minutes with three points all but secured.
However, a late wobble allowed the visitors back into the game before the controversial moment cropped up in the dying minutes.
VAR overturned Everton’s penalty against Man United, with questions being raised over the reasoning behind the decision.
It may feel like two points dropped for Everton but the Toffees remain in a solid position having extended their unbeaten run in the Premier League to six games.
But there could be some repercussions heading the way of one player who has now criticised some of the decisions Andy Madley made on the day.

Everton’s Jake O’Brien criticises referee Andy Madley
Former referee Mike Dean admitted he was surprised to see Everton’s penalty overturned with a clear tug on the shirt from Matthijs de Ligt.
But questions remain as to whether VAR actually showed Madley the incident in question or whether they may have actually focused on the contact with Harry Maguire.
Speaking after the match, Jake O’Brien shared his thoughts on the incident with the Ireland international not holding back on the referee’s performance.
“We are all gutted in there, we think it was a penalty,” said O’Brien.
“It would have changed how it went at the end. From what I could see it looked obvious, not like something you would check.
“It wasn’t just the penalty at the end, I think he has made a lot of wrong decisions today.”
O’Brien has really shone under Moyes since the Scotsman provided him an opportunity at right-back.
The last thing he will want to now do is throw away his opportunity in the starting XI by making stray comments about the referee, even if many fans do agree.

Everton need to get back to winning ways
Despite the disappointment on Saturday, Everton can quickly bounce back with their next game now just over 24 hours away.
The Toffees make the journey down to the capital before then making a trip to Wolves in a couple of weeks’ time.
With a game against West Ham coming up after, the Blues have a big opportunity to really secure themselves and potentially pull towards the top half.

However, in order to do so, they will need their best players available and O’Brien has put himself at risk of action from the FA with these comments.
Liverpool’s Virgil van Dijk did not receive a fine for his comments after the Merseyside Derby just a couple of weeks ago.
But Everton fans will feel it would be their luck for O’Brien to get hit by the book.
