Everton have some breathing room in their fight to avoid relegation.
Everton’s 3-2 win against Tottenham Hotspur leaves them four points above the drop zone with a game in hand on their rivals.
David Moyes spoke after the game about the need for signings, so he’s clearly under no illusion that there is still plenty of work to be done.
Attacking reinforcements are believed to be on the agenda and it’s been reported that Baris Alper Yilmaz could move to Goodison Park.
The Galatasaray wide player has enjoyed a prolific season in Turkey and could be available for £25m this month.
Alan Myers has now provided further clarity on the exact number of signings Everton are expected to make in the remaining couple of weeks of the window.

Alan Myers expects Everton to make two signings
According to Sky Sports journalist Alan Myers, Everton are expected to make two signings before the window ends.
Myers wasn’t able to say who and when, but clearly there is movement going on at the club, so there should be some announcements over the next 14 days.
The window slams shut on February 3rd and usually clubs across the Premier League are most active in the latter stages.
That’s when buyers can often get cheaper deals, so they decide to wait and apply pressure on the selling club leading up to the deadline.
Everton should sign a winger and striker
Everton really need to address their forward line given they’re the second lowest scorers in the division, only ahead of rock bottom Southampton.
A dynamic and pacey winger is needed, freeing up Iliman Ndiaye to move into the centre, where he operates best.
A striker should also be on the shortlist following Armando Broja’s injury, which is expected to keep him out for up to three months.
Brighton’s Evan Ferguson has been mooted with a move to Everton, so perhaps the Mersesiders could make a late bid to sign him.
