Beto’s situation with Everton this window is turning into one of the all-time great transfer sagas.
Many thought the striker would be out the door by now after Beto was spotted at an airport where he was supposedly pursuing a move to Serie A side, Torino.
That became even more evident a few days ago as Beto was watching Torino games as he still pushes for the transfer to happen.
David Moyes is expecting signings but hasn’t commented on potential outgoings from Goodison Park.
Surely Beto will end up away from Everton come February, but then again, you would count on him staying after a recent report.

Beto saga takes a turn as Everton and Kevin Thelwell demand one thing
It did emerge that Como wanted Beto but that doesn’t seem likely with Torino still leading the race for the 26-year-old.
Another claim suggested Beto had his bags packed to leave Everton but still, nothing has been proven concrete.
The print edition of Tuttosport (24/01/2025) have now given the latest update, stating the Toffees are making Beto’s exit ‘terribly complicated’.
That is due to the demands from Kevin Thelwell and the board to let him leave as they are sticking to the £17m price tag, as Torino are yet to come close.
The stalemate in the transfer now presents a ‘strong risk’ for the Italian club and after all of this, the move may not happen.

Moyes hasn’t lived up to Beto promise so far at Everton
Since Moyes has returned to the club, the Everton striker has hardly been involved, only featuring for eight minutes against Aston Villa.
The Guinea-Bissau striker was left on the bench for Everton’s 3-2 victory over Tottenham, and after Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s praise from Everton fans, Moyes may have no choice but to leave Beto on the bench.
It doesn’t look good for Moyes who promised to give Beto an opportunity as the saga is seemingly turning toxic.
This will only increase the frustration in the Beto camp who would’ve probably thought he’d be playing in Italy by now.
