The wait goes on for Everton’s first signing of the January transfer window as fans hope to see some real quality added to the squad.
Firepower up front is exactly what David Moyes will want to see as well as a number of other areas that need bolstering.
Everton fans would surely love to see the former fan favourite, Richarlison, return to the club at some point.
The Brazilian could actually provide Everton with some much needed goals if he was playing at the Hill Dickinson Stadium having offered a respectable return for Tottenham Hotspur this season.
It is believed that Everton have an interest in re-signing Richarlison at some stage as he has struggled, on the whole, since leaving Merseyside.
With the January window now open for business, the Toffees have just been handed their answer as Richarlison has made a decision over his future.

Richarlison shares stance on Tottenham future amid Everton interest
Everton News reported late last year that Richarlison would be open to an Everton return, if the opportunity did arise.
The Brazilian has provided Evertonians with a lot of good memories and he is showing this season that he still has a lot to offer at the age of 28.
According to ESPN Brazil, Richarlison has now decided that he would like to leave Tottenham following the World Cup in the summer.
How much of an upgrade would Richarlison be over Barry and Beto? 🤩
Get this man back to Merseyside!
It is believed that Flamengo could be an option for the forward if they are to postpone their striker search until the summer.
Interestingly, interest from Saudi Arabia and Turkey still remains, but the Brazilian still has years of playing at the top level ahead of him.
Richarlison has been on fire for a struggling Spurs side this season having provided a return of 7 goals and three assists in the Premier League alone.
Comparing that to the five goals returned by Thierno Barry and Beto, a move for the Brazilian in the summer would seem like a no-brainer for Everton.
Everton must offer Richarlison Hill Dickinson Stadium opportunity
It has been suggested that Moyes is fixated on signing a new striker for Everton in the January window.
A full week into the market and it is already looking like it could be a difficult task for Everton to get what they truly need to bolster their squad.
Now this should be interesting! 😏
Pick one for Everton, who you taking? 🫣
If that is to be the case, then there will be absolutely no excuses to be made in the summer by The Friedkin Group when it comes to the finances at hand.
Everton no longer have any PSR concerns, but Richarlison may not even cost that much considering he will only have one year remaining on his deal come the summer.
Premier League experience, still of good age, shouldn’t cost too much, there are very few reasons for Everton not to make a swoop for Richarlison.
