Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford is looking to win the World Cup with England this summer.
In his fifth major tournament, and perhaps final World Cup, Jordan Pickford will be desperate to finally win silverware with the Three Lions.
Pickford has been very complimentary of Thomas Tuchel, and he feels there is a clear evolution from the previous regime under Gareth Southgate.
Which Everton player are you expecting to have the best World Cup? 🏆
Ahead of England’s first game against Croatia in Dallas on Wednesday, the Overlap pundits have been discussing who was better, England’s 1990 team or the current one.
That led to Roy Keane making a bold prediction about Pickford.

Roy Keane predicts Jordan Pickford to become most-capped England player
Speaking on the Overlap, Keane has predicted Pickford to become the most-capped England player of all time, surpassing the current record holder Peter Shilton.
Neville: “Shilton’s… I think he’s the highest cap maker of all time.”
Keane: “Yeah, but Pickford’s going to go past that, isn’t he?”
Wright: “How many caps has Jordan got?”
Neville: “Jordan’s got 84 caps. How many has Peter Shilton got?”
Wright: “125.”
Keane: “He’ll go past that. He’ll go past that”
Shilton amassed 125 caps for England, and his remarkable tally hasn’t been touched in over 35 years, so it’ll be a tough feat to eclipse it.
Pickford still needs another 42 caps, which may be challenging given he recently celebrated his 32nd birthday.
The Everton shot-stopper may only have two or three seasons left at the top of his game before perhaps James Trafford takes over.
