Ray Wilson remains the only player to win the World Cup whilst playing for Everton.
Jordan Pickford will be looking to join that elusive club with England this summer, and many believe the Three Lions can do it.
David Moyes has predicted England to go far in the tournament, although he’s earmarked Spain and France as stiff competition.
Which Everton player are you expecting to have the best World Cup? 🏆
Pickford has been speaking to talkSPORT about his nation’s chances, and he made an interesting point about Thomas Tuchel compared to Gareth Southgate.

Jordan Pickford says Thomas Tuchel is a ‘winner’
Pickford has stated that England have evolved from the Gareth Southgate era as he believes Tuchel is a proven ‘winner’.
“Then the squad evolves, the manager evolves, and the manager now, Thomas, he’s a winner,” the Toffees goalkeeper said.
“He drives a winning mentality. He won at Chelsea, he wins where he goes, and he’s passionate and has a desire.
“I think we believe every time we put a shirt on that we’re going to win every football match. You’ve got to have that mentality going into football.
How would you feel about Hayden Hackney becoming Everton’s first signing? 🤩
“The passion he’ll bring out, the team talks, I think he’ll step it up. The team talks are very good. They are quality.
“He’s brilliant. It’s typical where, when we’re training, you work hard, when you’re in meetings, you listen, you focus, and the manager drives the meetings, and that kind of pushes into the training, or into the game. I’ve got to say, he’s top drawer.”
Pickford is in action on Wednesday evening, as England take on Croatia in Dallas, Texas.
The 32-year-old is in line to collect his 85th cap and potentially 46th clean sheet, which is a pretty remarkable record.
