Jarrad Branthwaite is a player attracting the attention of many, and Graeme Bailey has now shared the stance on Ruben Amorim and Manchester United wanting to sign the Everton star.
Everton have a number of things to sort out on the transfer front as the January transfer window approaches, with Jarrad Branthwaite‘s future potentially being one of them.
Liverpool and Manchester United have been credited with an interest in Branthwaite, but it’s very much in Everton’s hands with a £60m-£70m price tag slapped on him.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin is another player who Everton have a decision to make over, with his contract set to expire in June.
However, Calvert-Lewin did drop a hint recently, stating that he wants to surpass Romelu Lukaku’s tally for Everton, which he’s currently 13 goals off.
It’s Branthwaite that Graeme Bailey has got an update on regarding Man United in particular.

Man United’s stance on a move for Everton’s Jarrad Branthwaite
Speaking exclusively to Everton.News, journalist Graeme Bailey sought to offer an update on how Ruben Amorim’s potential arrival could change things regarding Jarrad Branthwaite.
He had this to say.
“Man United are still interested, with Amorim going in it won’t change their transfer strategy in the slightest. With the way Man United operate now, stories of Amorim coming in and demanding certain players are completely inaccurate.
“He’s attracting the interest of a lot of clubs, I think the biggest hope for Everton is that he wants to play in the new stadium under the Friedkin Group and the likely new manager in the summer.
“But, I think all signs when focusing on Branthwaite is just trying to keep him fit again and they’ll take it from there. But yeah he’s still very much someone United like.”
Jarrad Branthwaite’s importance at Everton
Jarrad Branthwaite may only be young, but his importance to this Everton side cannot be understated.
He’s only started one game this season and that resulted in a win against Crystal Palace, where he shone throughout the game and kept things tight defensively.
Interestingly, Dwight McNeil spoke about how impressed he’s been with Branthwaite behind the scenes and even mentioned how secretly fast he is.
The new stadium and the takeover provide two big reasons to stay at Everton and prove himself even more, with a move to Manchester United hardly a step up at this moment in time.
However, it depends what the player wants at the end of the day if money is the motivation.
