Everton fans will be extremely disappointed with the way their side played once again today, and to make matters worse Sean Dyche has confirmed a knock to one of his players.
The Toffees got lucky last time out against Fulham thanks to a late equaliser from Beto, and it looked like a repeat against Southampton as the striker netted in the 89th minute.
However, Everton had to deal with VAR as they ruled there to be an offside in the build-up to the goal.
It’s safe to say that Everton supporters are far from happy with the call, with some stating it’s not offside and others unhappy with how little advantage was given to the attacker.
Sadly, that’s not the only thing that will concern Everton fans, as Sean Dyche confirmed a knock to one of his players after the game.
Sean Dyche confirms injury worry for Everton after Southampton clash
Prior to the game, Sean Dyche admitted that Abdoulaye Doucoure missed out due to an issue, and Jesper Lindstrom wasn’t fully fit but still started.
Now, it seems as if there’s even more to worry about for Everton, as one of their star men picked up a knock during the clash with Southampton.

The official Everton account on X relayed Sean Dyche’s update, as they stated that Iliman Ndiaye was substituted off as a precaution after a knock in the second half.
Iliman Ndiaye’s importance for Everton this season
Iliman Ndiaye has been one of the standout performers for Everton so far this season.
Everton fans have been calling out for Ndiaye to be used centrally by Sean Dyche, but he opted for Dwight McNeil once again today, and it didn’t pay off.
With Jack Harrison, Jesper Lindstrom, and Dwight McNeil all able to play on the left, it’s about time Dyche put Ndiaye in his strongest position to influence the game more, as he lacked service.
Jamie Redknapp and Louis Saha both agreed that Ndiaye has been dynamite since moving to Goodison Park, as one of the only bright sparks against Fulham last time out.
