Sean Dyche certainly isn’t in the good books of Everton supporters, and he’s just made life harder for himself in his press conference ahead of Brentford.
Everton are gearing up to face Thomas Frank’s Brentford in the Premier League this weekend, knowing that a loss could actually see the Toffees drop into the bottom three if results go against them.
Sean Dyche‘s future has been a hot topic amongst fans after a rather dull past month in terms of performances, and it’s even led to managerial rumours appearing.
It’s been maintained that David Moyes would be the temporary replacement should Dyche be sacked if things go downhill, as the Friedkin Group is already very much focused on next season.
And it could yet be sooner rather than later if performances don’t improve, especially as he just keeps on damaging his relationship with the fans.
A comment from his presser today has infuriated a large chunk of the fan base, which has only added more pressure on his shoulders this weekend.

Sean Dyche says there’s ‘no evidence’ Iliman Ndiaye shouldn’t be operating on the left
Iliman Ndiaye‘s positioning has been one of the most talked about topics.
Everton fans have been calling out for him to operate centrally after seeing an old video of him playing for Sheffield United against West Bromwich Albion.

However, Sean Dyche, as often is the case, has gone for the polar opposite of what us as fans see as the logical option, as he has stated he’ll stick to his decision.
Speaking to the media ahead of the Brentford clash, here’s what he had to say (as per Liverpool Echo).
“There is no evidence to suggest he should be playing as a number 10.”
Sean Dyche is making life harder for himself
This must be some kind of joke or a game for Sean Dyche at this point.
Iliman Ndiaye has predominantly operated in the number 10 role throughout his career, scoring 25 of his 29 goals from a central position.
To say that there’s no evidence is completely untrue. In fact, there is even less evidence to suggest that operating on the left-hand side is a better option.
Michael Ball has even noticed Ndiaye’s frustration operating on the left, as he’s been starved of the ball at times and can’t influence the game as much as he’d like.
It’s almost as if he’s trying to just wind up the fanbase at this point.
