An Everton first-teamer is now being eyed by Championship outfit Sheffield United.
Everton have a lot of work to do in the summer transfer window, with just three new additions through the door at the moment.
- Carlos Alcaraz
- Thierno Barry
- Mark Travers
The Toffees are starting to make advances, as Lyon winger Malick Fofana is being heavily linked to Finch Farm.
Bayern Munich’s Adam Aznou is also close to joining David Moyes’ squad, with the teenage left-back due to undergo a medical today.
On the outgoing front, there is a fresh rumour emerging linking a first-teamer to Sheffield United.

Sheffield United want to sign Everton midfielder Tim Iroegbunam
Everton midfielder Tim Iroegbunam impressed against Bournemouth last night and was one of the only bright sparks.
Tim Iroegbunam has started two of the three pre-season games so far and has looked very comfortable in the middle of the park.
That’s alerted Sheffield United, who are now keen to sign the 22-year-old on a season-long loan deal, according to Alan Nixon.
Nixon notes that Iroegbunam has other admirers, but a move to the promotion-hopefuls could be ‘appealing’.
Everton must keep Iroegbunam until they sign another midfielder
After Abdoulaye Doucoure and Orel Mangala’s departures, Everton are very light in the middle and are in the market for a midfielder.
Moyes wants to sign Juventus’ Douglas Luiz, who is being made available by the Serie A giants for around £34m.
If Luiz joins, that would free up Iroegbunam to leave on loan, however, until that materialises, he must be kept.
The same goes for Harrison Armstrong, as he continues to be linked with multiple clubs in the Championship.
Derby, Blackburn and Hull are eyeing Armstrong after his impressive six-month spell with the Rams last term.
