When Everton signed Adam Aznou last summer, there was a lot of excitement among the supporters.
Adam Aznou arrived at Everton from Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich for a fee in the region of £8m.

Many expected Aznou to play a key role and eventually replace Vitaliy Mykolenko as the first-choice left-back this season.
But, it’s not panned out like that at all, as the 19-year-old is still awaiting his first Premier League appearance.
That said, what happened during the transfer window doesn’t suggest it’s coming any time soon, either.
Deadline day is now done… what’s your thoughts, Toffees? 😬
What more could have been done? 🫣
Adam Aznou unlikely to get much game time after transfer development
Aznou was actually left out of the matchday squad against Brighton and Hove Albion on the weekend.
David Moyes admitted that Aznou had ‘opportunities’ to leave before the winter transfer window slammed shut.
Aznou was linked with a loan move back to Spain and there was reported late interest from clubs in France.
But, nothing materialised, so the teenager will be spending the rest of the season on the fringes at Finch Farm.
Evidently, with Moyes willing to sanction his exit on loan, the Morocco international doesn’t seem to be in the manager’s plans.
Let us know what your advice to Tyrique George would be after signing for Everton… 🤔
What are you wanting to see from the youngster 💥
Adam Aznou is happy at Everton
Despite being given just 34 minutes of first-team football this season, Aznou is actually happy on Merseyside.
Speaking last month, the former youngster said: “After leaving Barcelona, I was with Bayern Munich in Germany for three years but I didn’t feel so good.
“I think Germany and England are similar countries in many ways, with the weather and maybe a bit the culture, but I feel really good here.
“I really like how the team is with me, and how everyone – the staff, the manager, the fans – is with me.
“It feels like everyone is behind me and I’m really excited to be part of this journey. I know I need to keep working and keep showing I can help the team.”
Aznou has been working hard in the gym to develop physically, which is believed to be an area of his game that Moyes is keen to develop.
So, perhaps he may get a few more opportunities if he can prove to Moyes that he’s physically ready for the Premier League.
