James Tarkowski made his return to Everton action on Wednesday evening against West Ham United.
David Moyes took in another defeat during the Summer Series, this time at Soldier Field in Chicago.
The Windy City lived up to its reputation, with Everton seeing their lead turned around by the Hammers in the typical Chicago weather.
Following the loss against AFC Bournemouth on the weekend, there were not too many positives to take from the game against Graham Potter’s side.
Tarkowski’s return from months out through injury was certainly one of them, though.
Speaking before the game, Tarkowski may have dropped an exciting transfer hint which will be music to the ears of all fans on Merseyside.

James Tarkowski drops exciting Everton transfer verdict
In recent days, Moyes has shared his transfer disappointment at Everton, with the club finding it difficult to land their targets.
Everton have completed the signing of left-back Adam Aznou from Bayern Munich, and Moyes will be hoping for more to follow in the coming days.
Before the game, Tarkowski was speaking to NBC Sports where he may have just dropped a hint on some immediate transfer business.
“Seamus [Coleman] shows the boys in this club straight away [what it means],” he said.
“Anyone who joins this club will know pretty quickly what it means to play for this football club. Seamus is the first person to let them know. I hope the lads can settle in quickly because there’s going to be bodies coming in soon and we need to be ready.”
Moyes is hoping Everton can sign nine new players before the window shuts in September.
The game against West Ham highlighted the huge amount of work still needed in the market for Everton to develop into a competitive side.

Everton want more signings after Adam Aznou
Aznou has now joined up with his new teammates in Chicago and could feature in the game on the weekend against Manchester United.
Tarkowski’s message prior to the game at Soldier Field will be music to the ears of all Evertonians.
It is believed Moyes is now pushing for Everton to sign Douglas Luiz from Juventus as the club’s top priority.
Everton are going to have to speed their process up if Moyes is going to get any new faces on board in time for the game on Sunday evening.
As Tarkowski said, the clock is now ticking and any new players who will land on Merseyside are going to have to settle very quickly.
