Dan Friedkin has a big decision to make at Everton over David Moyes’ future.
All indications suggest Everton will stick with their 63-year-old manager following a poor end to the 2025/26 season.
Moyes has been backed by the Everton board, but results have not picked up since their public support for the manager.
That was a disgraceful performance from Everton… something has to change! 😤
Over at Roma, Friedkin has been left delighted with their end to the season, which shows the huge contrast currently between the two clubs.

Dan Friedkin’s Roma congratulations highlight Everton disappointment
Everton ended their season with seven consecutive games without picking up a single win in the Premier League.
Regardless of the club’s long-term plan for stability, it is hard to deny that the Toffees did not throw away their opportunity to secure European qualification.
A report from Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport has claimed Dan Friedkin personally called Gian Piero Gasperini to congratulate him over Roma’s Champions League finish.
Moyes outers… is there anything he can do to change your mind? 🤔
It is believed Friedkin was absolutely delighted with how Roma ended their campaign, which led to a third-place finish in Serie A.
Quite the contrast to what The Friedkin Group witnessed on Merseyside, with Everton throwing away their opportunity at playing in Europe.
Dan Friedkin has not attended an Everton game yet since the takeover in late 2024 was confirmed.
There may be some supporters questioning his intentions with their club given he has not been a presence at any of the Hill Dickinson Stadium games.
Perhaps the bigger question lies over what he really thinks about the way Everton ended their season.
Moyes has publicly demanded the Friedkins back him in the summer transfer window, but recent history may suggest he is not the manager required to take the club to where they want to be.
