Everton winger Jack Grealish has suffered a stress fracture to his foot.
Fabrizio Romano has reported that after undergoing tests, Jack Grealish is set to be out of action for three months.
Grealish’s injury will cost Everton around £2.7m in wages, as the Manchester City loanee earns a reported £225,000-a-week.
Who would you play at left wing in place of the injured Jack Grealish? 🤔
The winger is reportedly facing THREE months out – do Everton need to sign a replacement?
It’s a major blow for David Moyes as the England international was his most creative player, topping the assists charts with six.
That said, here is the exact number of games Grealish is expected to miss and when he could return to action.

Jack Grealish set to miss 10 games for Everton
Grealish could be sidelined for up to 12 weeks, so his expected return date is around the 15th of April.
That means he will miss the following 10 games for Everton.
- Leeds United (H)
- Brighton (A)
- Fulham (A)
- Bournemouth (H)
- Man United (H)
- Newcastle (A)
- Burnley (H)
- Arsenal (A)
- Chelsea (H)
- Brentford (H)
The 30-year-old could be back for the Merseyside derby against fierce rivals Liverpool on the 18th of April.
That clash will be held at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, so it would be a pretty fitting game to return to.
Jack Grealish reacts on Instagram
There’s been no official word from Everton about how long Grealish is set to be sidelined for, but that could be announced today.
Either way, the reports appear to be true, as Grealish has just posted a photo on Instagram accompanied by a broken heart emoji.
As well as missing 10 games for the Toffees, the Man City loanee has also ruled out his chances of an England call-up in March.
So, his World Cup dream has just taken a huge hit as it will be extremely difficult to hit the ground running when he’s back.
Dwight McNeil now looks set to stay after being linked with a move away from Merseyside to Nottingham Forest.
