Everton are about to begin a new era under the Friedkin Group.
Dan Friedkin, who is also the owner of Roma, is set to take over Everton before the new year, which has given many fans optimism for the future.
Though, a section of the fanbase are already growing concerned after the mess he’s got Roma in this season.
Friedkin has already sacked two managers at Roma and did consider appointing Frank Lampard, who is now set to take charge of Coventry City.
With that said, he is now considering a recently sacked manager to take the helm in Italy’s capital.

Friedkin Group considering Erik ten Hag at Roma
According to Corriere dello Sport, Roma are now considering appointing recently sacked Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag.
Friedkin is also eyeing Graham Potter and Mauricio Sarri, both of whom have been linked to Everton in recent weeks.
Ten Hag has already been sounded out for the job but it remains to be seen if he’s ready to make an immediate return to the dugout.
Clearly, the Friedkin Group have seen enough from his time at United to convince them he’s the right man to take Roma back to their past glories.
And, that’s hardly surprising given his record against Everton.

Ten Hag would be an interesting appointment for Roma
Ten hag evidently didn’t have the most successful time at United, though, he did win the Carabao and FA Cup.
The potential appointment at Roma is certainly an interesting one, though, perhaps it won’t excite fans given how his last few months at Old Trafford went.
The Dutchman failed to implement a clear style of play, which is what Roma are crying out for after their disjointed start to the season.
The Friedkin Group simply can’t get this next appointment wrong, otherwise, protests against their ownership will only intensify.
