The Friedkin Group haven’t even completed their Everton takeover yet, but that hasn’t stopped them from getting some plans in place on Merseyside.

The Everton takeover is progressing nicely, with the Premier League’s Owners and Directors test one of the final hurdles before the green light is given.

However, it appears as if the Everton takeover won’t take priority over AS Roma once it’s completed, as Dan Friedkin has told Claudio Ranieri that the Italian club has some exclusivity.

It remains to be seen as to how truthful that comment will be this time next year, as the potential revenue at the new stadium could be a real eye-opener for the prospective new owners.

Interestingly, the Friedkin Group were handed a managerial boost by Leicester City recently, who are on the search for a new manager after sacking Steve Cooper.

Leicester City no longer considering David Moyes for the job

David Moyes has been named as Sean Dyche’s potential replacement the Friedkin Group want if he ends up being relieved of his managerial duties at Everton.

However, it’s claimed that the Scot would only take the job if the contract is right for him, and he is convinced about the new owners, their ideas and the budget.

There had been rumours that Leicester were contemplating a move for Moyes, but those rumours appear to have been put to bed.

According to the BBC’s When You’re Smiling Leicester City podcast, Graham Potter and David Moyes are not currently being considered for the job at the King Power stadium.

Sean Dyche possibly only has until mid-December

Everton have the trickiest run of any side in the Premier League coming up.

The likes of Wolves, Manchester City, Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal, Nottingham Forest and Manchester United are all coming up in the next seven games.

It’s understood that the Friedkin Group could be in power by mid-December, and they’ve been quick to sack managers at Roma already this season.

The Merseyside derby is a fixture that many fans will have their eyes on after the victory last season at Goodison Park, but it could also prove to be the downfall of Dyche if things don’t go his way.
