Everton are gearing up for a change of ownership which could mean a complete re-make of the staff behind the scenes, and it appears as if there may already be one board member being eyed.
The Friedkin Group have already been in contact with Fabio Paratici over a potential role that would involve taking charge of their portfolio.
There has also been a rumour involving Dane Murphy and a similar role with the Friedkin Group, but that is very much just talks at this stage.
Everton currently have Kevin Thelwell in the Director of Football role. His contract runs out in the summer and it appears as if replacements are already being eyed.
Interestingly, it’s now been claimed by the Esk that the Friedkin Group may have a board member already in mind who they know very well at Roma.
Eric Williamson tipped to be appointed as an Everton board member
The prospective Everton owners have already been trying to put as much in place as possible before they arrive on Merseyside.
They may have another thing to worry about if results don’t improve after the international break, as Sean Dyche is under a bit of scrutiny at this moment in time.

The Esk thinks he may have an inkling of a potential boardroom appointment at Everton, having seen Eric Williamson be so trusted by the Friedkin Group at Roma.
Speaking on the Talking the Blues Podcast, the Esk has suggested that Williamson could come on board.
“I think it would be very interesting once the Friedkin deal does go through to see if this guy appears on the Everton board and just remember his name. The guy’s name is Eric Williamson. He’s basically the Friedkin’s fixer,” he said.
“So across all of their businesses, when they have a problem, they call for this guy and this guy comes in and he sorts it out. He’s the guy that’s been charged with sorting out the current problem at Roma.
“And he’s a change engineer for want of a better description. He is the guy that if we’re gonna make the massive wholesale changes that we need to make at Everton, I think he’s the guy that will come into the club.
“So when they do announce the takeover as completed, and they do say who’s gonna be on the new board, just look out for this guy because I think he is the guy that’s gonna make the big changes.”

Who could the Friedkin Group turn to as a potential Dyche replacement?
Well, David Moyes has been named as a contender to replace Dyche at Everton, though it’s understood he would only be a temporary one.
Sergio Conceicao is also seen as a progressive hire for Everton and could come into the running if Dyche was to be sacked, with the Portuguese boss currently out of work.
The plan still remains for the Friedkin Group to hold off on any Hollywood appointment until the end of the season and safety is secured, with all eyes on the new stadium.
