Everton are in need of goals in the January transfer window as David Moyes still demands more from his current two strikers.
December did offer some hope for Everton as Thierno Barry netted twice at both ends of the month against Nottingham Forest.
However, consistency is the key when it comes to strikers and neither he nor Beto have been able to show any this season.
Moyes will need his strikers to be finding the back of the net a lot more frequently if he is going to take the Blues into Europe.

Everton News understands that Everton are actively looking to sign a striker in the January window to add some much-needed firepower.
There is one player believed to be on their radar who could potentially be available for a cut-price deal this month.

Everton showing an interest in Wolves striker Jorgen Strand Larsen
Speaking to the media on Friday, Moyes admitted the Friedkins are backing Everton in the January transfer window.
However, the 62-year-old did also caveat this by saying the Blues will only be going after the players they feel are the perfect fit.
According to the Daily Mail, Everton hold an interest in the Wolves striker, Jorgen Strand Larsen.
How much would you pay for Jorgen Strand Larsen in January? 🤨
He scored 14 in the Premier League last season!
The 25-year-old enjoyed a solid 2024/25 campaign, but currently finds himself struggling in a desperate Wolves side.
As Rob Edwards’ side look destined for the drop, the Norway international could be offered a way out of Molineux in the coming weeks.
Everton have also shown an interest in Joshua Zirkzee whose time at Manchester United is coming under scrutiny.
However, a cut-price deal for Strand Larsen could potentially be in the offing.

Everton could land cut-price Strand Larsen deal after Newcastle failing
Over the summer, Strand Larsen had a lot of interest, with Sky Sports claiming Newcastle United offered around £60m for the Wolves striker.
Given his current rate of scoring and Wolves’ struggles, The Friedkin Group could well sense an opportunity at a bargain.
Is there a better option out there for Everton instead of Nicolas Jackson? 🤔
Obviously, Wolves may well feel their only hope of survival is by keeping the Norway international at the club.
However, with just three points on the board, Wolves may already be preparing for life in the second tier.
Moyes is said to be ‘fixated’ on signing a new striker in January and Strand Larsen is a player who could potentially recapture his form from last season on Merseyside.
His returns this season may be underwhelming, but the context of playing in this Wolves side has to be considered.
