Everton winger Iliman Ndiaye is the subject of speculation after some intriguing claims over the last 24 hours.
Amid the clamour for new additions, there is also the possibility that some players could depart this summer.

Iliman Ndiaye arguably didn’t have a great end to the 2025/26 campaign, but that won’t stop other clubs from testing the waters this summer. And he’ll certainly attract more attention if he does well for Senegal at the World Cup.
Ndiaye has apparently rejected several new contract offers from Everton in recent times.
A sticking point has been the desire for a release clause to be added, which Ndiaye’s camp were keen to be active from this summer.
Ndiaye has three years left on his deal, but should Everton reach a position whereby they could lose him, then Crysencio Summerville would make sense as a replacement.
Everton should turn to Crysencio Summerville if Ndiaye leaves
It is important to note that Everton certainly do not want to lose Ndiaye this summer. They overwhelmingly would prefer to retain him.
A valuation of about £69 million has been placed on him, which the club hope will prove prohibitive for potential suitors.
But it’s not out of the question someone could meet that valuation, and Ndiaye goes.
If it’s looking like that may happen, then Crysencio Summerville – recently relegated with West Ham United – ought to be the first port of call.
Ultimately, Everton would be losing a really tricky customer in Ndiaye and someone with fantastic dribbling and technical ability.
Summerville is not so dissimilar to the Everton man. He is dynamic and plays with flair.

Where they differ slightly is that Ndiaye tends to roam a bit more, and is better in those small pockets in central areas. Summerville typically remains out wide, and is quicker.
But the Dutchman offers a similar level of output to Ndiaye, having scored eight goals and made seven assists in 58 games for West Ham United. Ndiaye has 17 goals and three assists in 71 Everton appearances.
Squawka data indicates that Summerville created 28 chances in the Premier League in 2025/26 – this was just two fewer than Ndiaye, who played 300 more minutes.
But Summerville – who is on Everton’s radar – was a slightly more accurate crosser of the ball (23% vs 12%).
Interestingly, Summerville actually even outshone Ndiaye when Everton played against West Ham in April
In an ideal world Ndiaye will be going nowhere this summer, because ultimately he can be a game-changer.
Yes, he finished the 2025/26 poorly by his standards. But he’s still one of Everton’s best and most influential players.
But Summerville would undoubtedly make a solid replacement.
