Everton’s recruitment team are in full swing as they continue the push to bring more players in before the season starts.
On Wednesday, Everton announced the signing of Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall from Chelsea in a deal worth roughly £30m.
David Moyes still wants more Everton signings, though.
The 62-year-old was left frustrated during the tour of the United States after his lack of squad depth was exposed in the Summer Series.
The Toffees have looked to immediately rectify this, with Everton making a push to sign Tyler Dibling from Southampton.
However, Southampton upped their valuation of Dibling to £50m, which saw Everton threaten to walk away from the deal.
But the player himself may have now just kept the potential deal alive.

Tyler Dibling asks to leave Southampton for Everton
After hearing Southampton’s valuation, Everton considered six Dibling alternatives to potentially make a move for.
The Toffees had already submitted three bids which had been knocked back by the Saints.
However, according to one club insider, Dibling has now requested to leave the Championship outfit this summer.
Amid the speculation, Dibling has trained alone at Southampton, with the 19-year-old believed to have missed training earlier in the week.
It is worth noting that Dibling has been carrying a minor injury issue, but the youngster has now made his stance on a transfer clear.
Everton are also plotting their move for Jack Grealish, as the Friedkins look to really propel Everton forward in the 2025/26 campaign.
The Toffees will now be hoping Southampton soften their own stance on the asking price, with Dibling now casting an unhappy figure on the south coast.

Dibling transfer could be wrapped up sooner than initially feared
Although Everton threatened to walk away from the Dibling deal, there will have been a feeling it may have been one to potentially pick up later in the window.
However, Dibling has done the legwork for Everton in potentially bringing Angus Kinnear back to the negotiating table.
Moyes is keen to sign a new right winger this summer, and Dibling is a player who could certainly excite the fans at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
What will be interesting is to see whether the Saints are willing to lower their asking price, with the player now pushing for a move.
Considering they have been dropped back down to the second tier, a bid in the region of £45m would eventually be accepted.
