Everton had a major collapse in their penultimate game at Goodison Park as Ipswich Town came back to draw.
David Moyes won’t be best pleased that his side threw away a two-goal lead against an already relegated Ipswich side.

Beto and Dwight McNeil put the Toffees fully in control, but after Julio Enciso scored a goal of the season contender, it provided a bit of shock to Moyes’ side.
This became apparent when George Hirst scored in the 79th mintue to salvage a draw at Everton’s dismay.
Carlos Alcaraz impressed vs Ipswich, but the Scotsman will see it as points dropped on the second-to-last Goodison game, as former player Ben Godfrey did something brilliant at The Grand Old Lady.

What former Everton player Ben Godfrey did in Ipswich draw
With Goodison now just having one game left, it’s an emotional time for Evertonians.
It wouldn’t have helped matters seeing Everton drop points in that fashion to a side who will be playing Championship football next season.
Of course, Moyes will know improvements are needed, but after just one win in ten, that’s become even more apparent.
Godfrey left the club for Atalanta in the summer, but chose to move back to the Premier League with Ipswich on loan, as Godfrey wanted an Everton departure.
The former Toffees defender didn’t feature in the game, but after the encounter, Godfrey was seen by journalist Joe Thomas doing a lap around the ground to clap the home supporters with Goodison coming to it’s end.

Godfrey future uncertain as Everton could make move
With the defender’s loan move coming about in the first place after his failed Atalanta move, Godfrey could be looking for a new club this summer.
It’s unclear yet what the 27-year-old will be doing, but after just three league appearances for The Tractor Boys, joining Ipswich permanently looks unlikely.
Atalanta have given up on Godfrey who struggled in Italy, so whose to say Moyes won’t look into the centre-back.
After letting him go for £10m, and Atalanta wanting him out, Moyes could see Godfrey as a sustainable option.
This could be a stab in the dark, but one thing is clear that he will miss Goodison greatly.
