Everton need to push on in the final days of this summer’s transfer window.

Throughout the summer, David Moyes has been demanding more new signings on Merseyside to bolster his side.

Monday evening’s Premier League opener showed exactly why the 62-year-old wants Everton to bring in more new faces.

It was an underwhelming performance from the Blues, but Moyes will not be overly surprised given the pre-season the club had.

Everton showed a real lack of any attacking threat at Elland Road, with Jack Grealish and Thierno Barry having to accept starting from the bench.

More attacking signings are on the radar, as Everton are in the market for another striker, along with other positions.

Reliable source Alan Myers has now shared what position he expects to be addressed next in the market.

Everton expected to prioritise new right wing signing

Despite spending a lot of his time out wide for Manchester City, Grealish’s brother expects him to play as the number 10 at Everton.

With Iliman Ndiaye out on the left, there is a serious lack of natural options to play out on the right for Moyes.

Taking to social media, Myers has suggested he expects the right-wing position to be the next addressed in the market.

When asked what position he can see being signed next, Myers replied: ‘I think the next in will be a RW’.

Moyes has been keen to sign a new winger ever since he stepped foot back on Merseyside in January.

Even into the deep stages of this summer’s window, the 62-year-old is waiting on a new right winger.

Everton are showing interest in Tyler Dibling, but talk over a potential move to the Hill Dickinson Stadium has gone quiet over recent days.

What Will Still has now said about Tyler Dibling amid Everton interest

It has been suggested that Southampton would now listen to lower offers for Dibling, having previously set their stall in excess of £50m.

As expected, Everton were prepared to walk away from their Dibling interest, but the player seems keen on the move.

The youngster returned to the Southampton squad at the weekend, but Dibling had been omitted from Southampton’s side for the opening game of the season.

Speaking in his press conference at the weekend, Will Still shared what he said to the young winger following his return to the side.

“Like I said to him, if that’s what he wants, then clubs will look at it and say, ‘he’s being professional, he’s playing, he’s getting involved, and he’s doing the job right’,” said Still.

“If he does well, then the interest will only grow for him, and we want good players on the pitch.”
