Everton have appointed David Moyes as their replacement for Sean Dyche.
It has not taken The Friedkin Group long to find their replacement for Dyche after sacking the 53-year-old on Thursday.
Moyes is returning to Everton on a two-year deal a whopping 11 years after he left Merseyside for Manchester United.
But he is returning to an Everton side who are struggling massively in the Premier League as they sit. in 16th spot.
The Friedkins are looking to sign two new players for Everton this month as the work in the summer clearly has not improved the starting XI.
And in his statement, Moyes may have just alluded to that and the work done under Dyche.

David Moyes is excited to rebuild Everton under The Friedkin Group
Moyes is expected to bring in Billy McKinlay as his assistant at Everton with some serious work needing to be done at Goodison.
Speaking to Everton’s media team, Moyes claimed the job he is taking on requires a rebuild on Merseyside.
“It’s great to be back! I enjoyed 11 wonderful and successful years at Everton and didn’t hesitate when I was offered the opportunity to rejoin this great club,” he said.
“I’m excited to be working with The Friedkin Group and I am looking forward to helping them rebuild the club.”
It is expected Moyes will have demanded January signings at Everton for him to take on the role, given their current struggles.
And it would seem he has not been impressed with the work he has seen done over recent years under the reign of Farhad Moshiri.
The Friedkin Group delighted by Moyes appointment
Dyche’s departure did not receive a any gratitude from the Friedkins who offered him a similar exit to Rafael Benitez.
However, the mood has significantly shifted when it comes to Moyes’ appointment with Marc Watts commenting on the 60-year-old’s return.
“We are pleased that David is joining us at this pivotal time in Everton’s history. With over a decade of experience at the club, he is the right leader to propel us through our final season at Goodison Park and into our new stadium,” he said.
“We look forward to working with David to build the foundation of a new era for Everton.”
Now, it is time for Everton to focus on bringing some stability back and pulling themselves out of the relegation battle.
