Everton’s transfer pursuit of Jaden Philogene is beginning to heat up, and the winger’s preferred destination has now been revealed.

According to Italian transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, the Toffees have sent the “electric” Hull City winger a proposal.

However, the 22-year-old winger’s £17million price tag is believed to be the main stumbling point as the transfer race gathers pace.

Crystal Palace and Ipswich Town are also thought to be interested, and now, the latest BBC report suggests Philogene has made up his mind about his next move.

Premier League new boys Ipswich are looking to make themselves heard on the transfer front, and the Tractor Boys are now understood to have the upper hand in the race for the former Aston Villa star.

BBC Sport claims Town are now “hopeful” of landing the Hull City man and that Philogene is keen to move to Portman Road.

It’s believed the winger views the move to Ipswich as the best move at this present moment in his career.

Furthermore, Ipswich are also in talks over a move for Hull’s Jacob Greaves, and a double deal will cost around £30million.

Everton also in hunt for Jacob Greaves

Everton’s transfer battle with Ipswich shows no sign of letting up, with Toffees also in the hunt for Hull’s Greaves.

The 23-year-old is seen as a natural successor to Jarrad Branthwaite, although Manchester United’s interest in Everton’s star man has now cooled.

With Branthwaite seemingly likely to stay, the Toffees should focus on landing Philogene over Greaves.

The exciting winger would add pace and dynamism to the Blues’ attack, something Sean Dyche would undoubtedly welcome to his forward-thinking options.

Nevertheless, with Tim Iroegbunam and Iliman Ndiaye already through the door, Dyche will be pleased with the early business conducted at Goodison Park.
