David Moyes could start Carlos Alcaraz ahead of Doucoure

January signing Carlos Alcaraz made his Everton debut on the weekend after coming off from the bench against Bournemouth.

The Argentine midfielder rattled the post from a free kick and Moyes admitted he was impressed with Alacaraz’s display.

However, starting him in the Merseyside Derby would be a big statement given he only landed in the country last week.

But the 61-year-old did suggest on Tuesday in his press conference that the 22-year-old had done enough against the Cherries to warrant being selected.
