Former Everton manager Marco Silva is leaving Fulham and he could even be replaced by another former Everton boss in Frank Lampard.

There were a number of Everton supporters demanding a managerial change this summer on Merseyside through TalkingPoints.

A number of Everton’s former managers have made a success of themselves elsewhere since moving on from the Blues.

Silva and Lampard have both enjoyed their own success since leaving Everton, but could soon test the water at new clubs.

Silva is set to join Benfica and replace Jose Mourinho, who has agreed to become the next Real Madrid manager.

Like a number of other Premier League clubs, the Cottagers now find themselves in search of a new manager over the coming weeks.

Speaking on Market Madness, Ben Jacobs claimed Lampard is a manager who has been considered by the Londoners.

“Yeah, I think Frank Lampard’s gonna stay at Coventry. That’s my information. Of course, people are looking at him because he got them promoted and with a fantastic points tally, but Coventry are quite confident there that there’ll be no surprises,” he said.

“Fulham have made an inquiry. I would say Kieran McKenna is the leading candidate at the moment to replace Marco Silva. But again, a fluid situation.”

Fulham are not alone in their interest of the former Everton manager, with Chelsea recently keen on appointing Lampard before they landed Xabi Alonso.

The 47-year-old’s stock has risen considerably since he departed Merseyside following the seriously impressive job he has done at Coventry.

The same can be said for Silva, who is now set to be managing in Europe again with Benfica after they finished in third place this season.

As former managers excel elsewhere, there is going to be a growing pressure on Moyes to deliver next season following his dreadful end to the 2025/26 campaign.
