Everton still have plenty of time to bring some new faces through the doors on Merseyside before the transfer deadline at the end of the month.
But that also means there is plenty of time for Everton to allow some players to depart with the season now just a week away.
Sean Dyche has already waved goodbye to a number of players this summer with Everton battling against PSR in the month of June.
Since then, Everton have sold Amadou Onana for £50m to Aston Villa in what has provided the Blues with a hefty chunk of money to help balance up the books.
With four new faces through the door and room for more to follow, Everton may first need to bring in more money through player sales before spending further.

Everton player does not look comfortable this summer
Kevin Thelwell has certainly been a busy man this summer and by no means is his work done just yet.
Just under three weeks remain in the transfer window for Premier League clubs to get their business completed.
Everton have put in some good groundwork with the signings of players like Jake O’Brien and Iliman Ndiaye.
However, there is one player who remains at Goodison Park who could still be searching for an avenue out of the club.
Alan Myers has been speaking on the View From The Bullens podcast, where he has suggested Dominic Calvert-Lewin has not looked comfortable in an Everton shirt this summer.
“I think if, if we if he stays, he’s a valuable striker. We know he can produce. And if Sean Dyche can do what he’s done with him and keep him fit and and get him back fit again, no reason why not.
“But, you know, I think the uncertainty… again, you’ve talked about, does it affect people? And you’ve seen in pre-season games and things. He didn’t look comfortable, and you wonder where that is because he doesn’t know what his future is. And, you know, and that’s no good for anybody.”
“I think you’re probably looking between £25m-£30m [for Calvert-Lewin].”
Everton remain searching for another striker
With just one year remaining on his current deal, Calvert-Lewin has been linked with a move to Newcastle United in recent weeks.
Calvert-Lewin is not the only striker at Everton to have been linked with an exit given Beto received interest from Atalanta earlier this month.
However, Dyche has decided he would like to keep Beto at Everton this season having only signed him last summer.
With movement possible in the striker department for Everton, finding a replacement is going to be a potential must over the next few weeks.
Links still remain around Everton’s interest in Tammy Abraham with this certainly seemingly like an area for fans to keep an eye on.
