Everton now have just two games to play at Goodison Park before they bid farewell to their iconic home.
Emotional goodbyes are now just a matter of weeks away for many at Everton.
The Goodison Park finale date has now been set by the Premier League as Sunday, 18th May when Southampton make the final visit to L4.
Ipswich Town is the penultimate game on Merseyside before Everton make their move to Bramley-Moore Dock over the summer.
David Moyes has finally visited Bramley-Moore after putting off the new stadium due to Everton’s fight against the drop.
However, there is yet to be any confirmation as to what is next for Goodison Park.
Peter Reid is expecting a huge send-off for Goodison Park next month, but Alan Stubbs is concerned about what’s been suggested for its future.

What Everton have planned for Goodison Park
Moyes did not want to leave Goodison Park, but it seems as if the club may not be looking to knock down their historic ground.
There has been the suggestion that the Friedkins could keep Goodison Park and hand it over to the women’s side to play their games in.
Speaking on TalkSPORT, club legend Stubbs has admitted he’s worried about that proposal as he feels Everton need to move on from Goodison now.
“It’s a tough one for me because I think when you’re saying you’re leaving a ground, I think you should leave it,” he said.
“But then if they’re keeping it for the ladies, it’s still there. So, I’m not sure. It’s a tough decision for whoever will have to make that decision, for me. I’m looking forward to the last [two] games we have at Goodison.
“And then I will say my goodbyes and I will be looking forward to moving into Bramley-Moore.”
Stubbs thinks the Friedkins can lead Everton to Europe if they are able to get their recruitment right.
Everton will be hoping they can make the leap when they do move into Bramley-Moore, but an emotional goodbye still awaits the club next month.
Stubbs will struggle to hold emotions in Goodison Park finale
Duncan Ferguson will be attending Bramley-Moore’s first game in the Premier League next season.
However, Stubbs will be in attendance for the final game in L4 against Southampton in around four weeks’ time.
After the game against Manchester City on Saturday, Everton fans will be hoping the Toffees can finish their time at Goodison in style with two victories.
Coming up against two sides set to be playing Championship football next season, that is certainly the only way Moyes will be looking to exit Goodison.
