Charly Alcaraz has been amazed by Everton’s supporters despite having previously played at Juventus and Flamengo.
Having joined on an initial loan move last January, Alcaraz was brought back to Everton permanently over the summer.
However, the 23-year-old has endured some struggles at the Hill Dickinson Stadium since his return was made permanent.
Alcaraz has played just 673 minutes of Premier League action this season as David Moyes has placed his trust predominantly in Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.
Everton have recently welcomed Alcaraz back from injury, which kept the midfielder out of action for several games over the New Year.

Despite his lack of consistent minutes, the 23-year-old has admitted he wants nothing more than to prove his worth to Moyes.

Charly Alcaraz joined Everton because of the fans
Everton fans are not totally convinced by the Hill Dickinson Stadium just yet, with results not where the club want them to be.
However, Alcaraz has made it very clear that the main selling point behind his move to Merseyside was to play in front of the Everton supporters.

“Honestly, when they chant my name even before I come on, it gives me goosebumps because it’s something that doesn’t happen for every player. It really is special,” he told the Everton website.
“I’ve been at some really big clubs with superb fans, but I think Everton fans are also very different because they’re brilliant. They’re always singing, they’re always there.”
“Since I arrived, I’ve always been treated well, everyone has always been good to me, so that’s why I decided to stay here,” he added.

Some Everton fans were not impressed with Alcaraz’s display away to Bournemouth after he actually made the starting XI.
Opportunities have simply not been there for the Argentine midfielder, as Moyes has given him just 11 minutes across the last four Premier League games.
Alcaraz is able to play up front amid Everton’s struggles
Moyes has not been overly impressed with Thierno Barry and Beto this season, with the pair struggling for consistency in front of goal.
Goals have been few and far between for the Toffees for large parts of the 2025/26 campaign.
Everton News columnist Alan Myers previously mooted Alcaraz as a striker option for Everton given how serious their struggles have been at times.
Even if he was not to play up front, Alcaraz demonstrated last season, under Moyes, that he can be a creative outlet for the Blues.
Alcaraz returned two goals and three assists in the second half of last season, which is a return that rivals most in the current Everton side.
The Argentine has made his feelings very clear on why he enjoys playing for Everton, but he’s struggling to experience playing in front of the fans as it stands.
