Everton are preparing for a transformative summer transfer window.
The Friedkin Group are ready to hand David Moyes a substantial budget, with PSR restrictions finally set to be lifted.
David Moyes is keen to change the transfer strategy, with a focus on recruiting more domestic players in the Premier League and Championship.
Such is why Everton want to sign Burnley’s Maxime Esteve, who is valued at in excess of £30m by the Championship promotion hopefuls.
The Toffees have also added Ipswich Town striker Liam Delap to their shortlist after it emerged that he has a relegation release clause.
Now, there’s a fresh update on long-term target Evan Ferguson.

Everton could reignite interest in Evan Ferguson
Everton were showing an interest in Evan Ferguson ahead of the January transfer window but missed out to West Ham United.
Brighton and Hove Albion shipped the Republic of Ireland international on a six-month loan, but so far, he’s struggled to find his goalscoring boots.
Ferguson is yet to get off the mark for the Hammers and has been dropped to the bench in recent weeks.
However, that’s not put Everton off, as TEAMtalk report they could reignite their interest in the 20-year-old this summer if West Ham decide against making his loan permanent.
Whilst West Ham don’t have an option to buy, they still hold the cards given the Potter connection, as he’s clearly a big fan of Ferguson, having signed him at both Brighton and now with the East Londoners.
Ferguson has a £45m price tag
Ferguson is still widely regarded as one of the best young talents in the Premier League, and as such, Brighton have placed a £45m price tag on him.
That could lower after a poor season, or the report suggests that the Seagulls could send him out on another loan in the hope of his stock increasing.
If Everton do make an approach for Ferguson, they’re set to face competition from Leeds United, who are currently top of the Championship.
The Whites are in the market for a long-term successor to Patrick Bamford and Ferguson will be a top target if they manage to gain promotion to the Premier League.
