Jarrad Branthwaite open to signing new Everton contract
Everton News understands the club are in constant contact with Jarrad Branthwaite’s representatives with the hope of agreeing a new contract.
Branthwaite, the subject of interest from Manchester United last summer and still someone on the radar of every major club in Europe, has two years left on his current deal.
However, Branthwaite has not had a new deal since becoming an England international and is due a huge pay rise – if he agrees to a new deal and Everton are willing to reward him.
Everton are ready to back Moyes this summer as they look to move into their new Bramley-Moore Dock home on a high, and as well as new faces, they do not want to lose any of their star names this summer.
Jordan Pickford will be staying, whilst Everton are also still hoping Dominic Calvert-Lewin could sign a new deal, they hope Branthwaite will also put pen-to-paper and they are hopeful of a new deal.
Everton News understands that Branthwaite is open to the idea of signing a new deal having been impressed with what he has seen from Moyes and his staff in the first few weeks of the new regime.

During Sean Dyche’s time at the club, Branthwaite made a name for himself, but did not quite look right towards the end of the 53-year-old’s tenure.
Since Moyes came through the doors, Branthwaite has received big praise from Rio Ferdinand who was impressed in the recent Merseyside Derby.
