Time is running out for Everton to make new signings in the transfer window.
There was a lot of speculation heading into the final day, and the feeling was that a few could come in.
Carlos Alcaraz is joining Everton on loan from Flamengo, and that was a deal that was expected.
But fans thought one or two more would come in as well as the Argentine, but it has been a quiet day at Finch Farm.
Alan Myers said earlier today that he didn’t expect much activity from Everton on deadline day and so far that has proven to be the case.
And now, with just a few hours to go until the deadline, Myers has dropped another update.
Everton could yet make loan signing before transfer deadline as Myers drops updates on Carlos Alcaraz and Tom Fellows

Recent results may well have changed Everton’s stance on deadline day.
Everton have won their last three Premier League games to go 10 points clear of the relegation zone.
David Moyes has had a brilliant impact since replacing Sean Dyche, and the Scot’s arrival has put the club in a much more comfortable position.
So it’s been a quiet day for Everton, but Myers still reckons there is small potential for the Toffees to do something before the deadline.
He also gave updates on Alcaraz and Tom Fellows, who was reportedly the subject of a £10 million Everton bid.
Replying to a user on X, Myers said: “I’d expect Alcaraz anytime now. Fellows I’m told nothing in it, not aware of anything else at this point but 3 and half hours to go, still possible a loan could happen if it came up.
Everton fans will hope for a forward
Everton have made big strides already under Moyes, but some are fearful that failure to act will result in the club getting sucked back towards the relegation zone.
Alan Shearer felt Everton needed two signings to avoid a relegation battle and some will agree with his sentiments.
We will see if there are any surprises in store.
But thankfully, Moyes has been getting a tune out of the attackers at his disposal so far.
That said, Everton fans would absolutely love to see the surprise arrival of a new forward.
