David Moyes has almost done everything right at Everton, but there still seems to be some of Sean Dyche’s ways still around the club.
It was never going to be a quick fix for Everton after Dyche’s toxic ending with the Toffees.
Moyes has done excellently though and has galvanized the club with their Premier League status confirmed for next season.
| Position | Team | Played MP | Won W | Drawn D | Lost L | For GF | Against GA | Diff GD | Points Pts |
| 13 | 33 | 8 | 14 | 11 | 34 | 40 | -6 | 38 |
Moyes isn’t celebrating Everton’s safety, which is a good mentality to have if they want to get back to competing for Europe.
But there is one factor that he has lauded Dyche for.

David Moyes would love to take credit for Sean Dyche success at Everton
The Scotsman has proven to be an appointment much suited to what The Friedkin Group need.
This was shown when Moyes won manager of the month, which Dyche could’ve only dreamt of.
But Moyes will be jealous of what Dyche did so well with the Toffees and has made that clear.
In an interview with TNT Sports, the Everton boss said to Joe Cole he’d love to take ‘credit’ for the Toffees’ set-piece success.
“I’d love to take the credit it for that but I can’t cause it must’ve been Dychey,” Moyes said
“I think Dwight is such a good deliverer of the ball, he’s got back in the last few weeks, we’ve missed that.”

Moyes’ Everton decision in January hasn’t paid off
Although Everton still carry a threat from set-pieces, it’s not as effective as when Dyche was in charge.
The football on the pitch is no doubt better, but it seems like they are missing the secret weapon of set-pieces in the crucial moments.
Moyes appointed Charlie Adam as set-piece coach in January, and after Everton were praised for their set-pieces under Dyche, he was looking to improve them.
However, Moyes has been frustrated with Adam’s set-pieces and may be keen to make a change in the summer.
With the height they possess with Jarrad Branthwaite and Jake O’Brien, it seems like a missed opportunity if Moyes doesn’t improve on them.
