Everton will be assessing their transfer options as David Moyes will hope to move for additions as the transfer window countdown begins.

It’s so far been a quiet scenario on the transfer front for Everton as fans are eager to see arrivals walk through the door.

The new owners are hoping to make a strong impression on the fanbase as Moyes pleaded to The Friedkin Group over signings.

So far there hasn’t been strong enough evidence to see activity happening from an Everton point of view.

However, the Toffees have been handed a boost with a defensive transfer target.

Ben Chilwell open to joining Everton over Borussia Dortmund

Ben Chilwell has been liked with Everton as Moyes’ hope of signing a left-back goes on.

The Chelsea full-back is out of favour under Enzo Maresca, so a move to Everton could be beneficial for all parties.

Now, a new revelation from MailOnline has given Everton a significant transfer boost over some of Europe’s elite in acquiring Chilwell.

The reports says that the 28-year-old is eyeing a late loan exit as a Premier League move is favoured over Borussia Dortmund.

West Ham, Palace, Everton and, possibly, Manchester United, are among those watching.

So it won’t be easy for Everton to sign Chilwell, but Moyes has now landed a strong advantage.

Chilwell admired by Moyes as it could be a game-changer for Everton

Chilwell is a brilliant player, but injuries have hampered his development at Chelsea.

The last thing the Everton boss will want is more injury-prone players after Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s set-back, but Moyes is a big fan of Chilwell.

The left-back’s best season in the Premier League speaks volumes as to why Moyes would love to add him to the Everton squad.

If Chilwell is at the top of his game at Everton, it could go down as a transfer masterclass by Moyes.
