David Moyes is hoping to start getting together a transfer shortlist for The Friedkin Group.

With the season coming to it’s end, Everton will be gearing up for the transfer window.

Moyes will be hoping he can land his targets, as a revamp is needed in the squad.

Seamus Coleman falls into this category as his time with the Toffees could come to an end, as Everton fans want Coleman as a coach.

Ashley Young, Michael Keane, and others fit into this category, and this can now open the door for promising talent as a target has an exciting update for Moyes.

Everton target Juanlu Sanchez has release clause revealed

With Moyes wanting a full-back at Everton, Juanlu Sanchez fits into this problem.

The 21-year-old has been linked to the Toffees, as Everton are seriously interested in Sanchez, and with Coleman leaving, a gap will need to be filled.

Well, Moyes has just been handed a major step-up into pursuing the young Spaniard, as talks of a new contract for the full-back have now been confirmed.

Although this might seem like bad news for the Toffees, Sanchez didn’t have a release clause, which was the first obstacle Everton had to overcome.

Now a report from the Sunday Mirror (13 April, page 64) claims that Sanchez is valued at £15million but he also has a £34.3m release clause in his new contract that he signed this week.

Everton should go all in for ‘incredible’ Sanchez

The Spaniard is one of Sevilla’s prized possessions over in Spain.

Many fans might have seen the full-back’s performances in last summer’s Olympic Games, which exemplifies the kind of player he is.

With Sevilla stranded in 14th in La Liga, Sanchez will be keen on a move, and Moyes will be keen to pounce.

Of course, Everton’s Premier League position isn’t exactly flattering, but it’s clear there’s an exciting project being built, and Martin Keown sees Everton in the Champions League.

This could pique Sanchez’s interest, and what former Sevilla boss Garcia Pimenta said about him in a post-match press conference shows exactly why this deal needs to happen.

“I spoke to him, I knew he could do well in that position. Juanlu has an incredible present and a better future.”

It seems like a bargain for Everton, as Moyes should make this a priority signing.
