Everton may have just been handed some transfer optimism with one of their targets potentially available for a late move.

David Moyes and his recruitment team will have their fingers on the trigger looking for any potential opportunities ahead of Monday’s deadline.

The Toffees have already completed the majority of their business, with just a couple of areas that could do with additions.

Moyes has been pleased with Everton’s transfer business, but there is room to bolster the squad depth in certain positions.

Everton got off the mark at the weekend against Brighton & Hove Albion, and they will be eyeing three points against a struggling Wolves.

But there will also be an eye on the market, with a late opportunity potentially set to present itself to the Toffees.

Everton target Yves Bissouma’s move to Galatasaray could collapse

Everton have shown an interest in Tottenham Hotspur’s Yves Bissouma this summer, with the player set for an exit.

Earlier this week, it had been reported that Bissouma was set to join Galatasaray.

However, there has been a big twist, with journalist Sacha Tavolieri now claiming that the move to Turkey could be about to collapse.

It is suggested that those at Galatasaray hold some major concerns about Bissouma’s physical condition

Despite agreeing a deal with Spurs, the worries over the player could now result in a deal falling through.

Of course, these concerns will likely worry Everton fans, but the Toffees may back themselves to get Bissouma fit again.

Bissouma has missed all of Tottenham’s opening games, with manager Thomas Frank claiming he is currently injured following his disciplinary ban over the summer.

This could leave Everton with a real dilemma on their hands.

Everton are keen to sign another midfielder

Ahead of the deadline on Monday evening, it is believed that Everton want to add a new midfielder and right-back.

Moyes has admitted that Harrison Armstrong could leave on loan for the season, which would certainly require the club to move in the market.

Bissouma has Premier League experience, which could be seen as an upgrade on the likes of Armstrong.

However, there is plenty of evidence there for Everton to hold some major concerns about Bissouma’s personality.

It is believed that Tottenham value Bissouma in the region of £14m.

Having brought in a player like Tyler Dibling, questions have to be asked whether a player like Bissouma would be a good character to have around Finch Farm.
