There are some exciting plans put in place by Everton for Goodison Park’s Finale which are going to wow the fans in attendance.

But the club are going to need more from the players who have struggled over recent weeks to find the back of the net.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin returns to Everton training ahead of Ipswich

Earlier this week, it had been suggested Dominic Calvert-Lewin was set to return from injury after spending months on the sidelines.

Moyes has not really had an opportunity to properly work with Calvert-Lewin since making his return back in January.

On Thursday, the club released images of the striker back in action at Finch Farm and it appears he is back into full training.

The images released would suggest the 28-year-old has been fully integrated back into the first-team ahead of the game on the weekend.

With this in mind, it will be interesting to see whether he can make his return to the starting XI.

Beto’s form has completely fallen away and the Portuguese striker has not been able to find the back of the net since February.

However, as Moyes has shown with Dwight McNeil, the Everton boss is keen not to throw his returning players straight back into the starting XI.

Calvert-Lewin photo speaks volumes amid contract saga

For a while now, it has been known that Calvert-Lewin has not inked any of the contract offers handed to. him by Everton.

In recent hours, it has now been claimed Calvert-Lewin’s agents are seeking fresh Everton talks over the possibility of landing a new deal.

And one of the images released by the club was of Calvert-Lewin and Moyes shaking hands on the training pitch.

Clearly, there is a good relationship between the pair and Moyes did get the striker’s first goal in months out of him against Tottenham Hotspur.

The image would suggest there could be scope for a deal to be struck given the friendly nature between the pair and Moyes could even unleash the striker this weekend.
