Everton are yet to move in the January transfer window despite clubs sniffing around some of their players.

Heading into the window, Everton News columnist Alan Myers wanted Everton to sign a midfielder among two other additions.

Now a full four weeks into the market and Everton are yet to make any additions.

Departures have not been ruled out, with Myers also suggesting that Beto could leave Everton before the deadline on Monday.

The striker is receiving interest from Serie A, where he spent his time before making the move to Merseyside.

There’s no way Everton can sell Tim Iroegbunam after the season he’s having! 😡

Everton receive offers from Lazio for Tim Iroegbunam

It has been claimed that Lazio have made offers to sign Iroegbunam this month in a bid to prise him away from the Blues.

Everton have knocked back the approaches, with the midfielder’s asking price said to be lower than £15m.

Over on the TalkingPoints discussion, Everton fans have been left in disbelief over hearing the notion that Iroegbunam could potentially be moved on.

There are no wrong answers here! They have all been sensational this season 🔥

But which two are you starting if you're Moyes? 🤷‍♂️

One fan said: ‘No, I would keep him been playing a lot better recently.”

A number of Championship clubs have shown an interest in Iroegbunam following his turn around on Merseyside over recent months.

Reacting to the news over interest in the midfielder, another fan added: ‘Had some good games and is showing good improvement. I’d keep him give him another season at least then make a big profit is right.’

A third fan said: ‘Why would we want to sell him, greatly improved and getting better!’

Iroegbunam has really impressed Moyes along with these Everton fans.

The comments kept piling in as a fourth fan added: ‘Why sell a young lad who is improving every time he plays 90 mins…9 million, is an insult tbf. Triple it and I’d still say Tim’s ceiling, is worth more to us.’

Iroegbunam’s value to the squad is clear as one other fan commented: ‘No, too valuable a midfielder to lose at this stage of the season.’ And another said: ‘Worth more than £9m as a squad player and slowly he’s developing well, keep another year and then review again.’

Everton fans have made a U-turn on Iroegbunam

Credit to the young man as he has certainly turned things around on Merseyside following a turbulent 2024/25 campaign.

Everton fans were not impressed with Iroegbunam last season; even when he was playing under Moyes.

Fast forward to today and it is clear that fans are now completely against the idea of selling the midfielder.

Although Harrison Armstrong has been recalled from his Preston North End loan deal, it is apparent that Moyes’ options are still stretched.

With no signings coming through the doors of Finch Farm just yet, Everton fans are in agreement that Iroegbunam should not be going anywhere.
